Etching, aquatint, and dry-point move like gestures inside a reverie, the burin carving into copper and zinc as if tracing the subconscious itself. The plate becomes a threshold, a matrix of incision and engraving where acid bites through the ground, leaving sedimented memories in its wake. Resin dust settles like dream residue, and inking and wiping turn into rituals of revelation and concealment. Under the pressure of the press, an impression emerges, an apparition pulled from shadow and silence. Each edition carries a phantom trace, a veil of distortion and reflection, embossed into vellum like an echo from a liminal space. In this process, the image drifts between void and bloom, between fragment and illusion, dissolving and reassembling into a labyrinth of depth and awakening, where every mark feels like a portal opening inside the plate and within the mind.
